Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
KidsCurate (“we”, “us”), operated by KIDSCURATE LLC, helps parents find kid-friendly places and events in the San Francisco Bay Area at kidscurate.com. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account details. If you sign in, we receive your email address and, if you use Google, your name and the email that provider shares with us. We never see your password for those services.
- Your saved places. The favorites you save, so they sync across your devices.
- Messages you send us. Anything you submit through the Contact form or the “Suggest a place” form, including the contact details you choose to include.
- Location. If you tap “Near me”, your browser asks for permission and your location is used on your device to sort nearby places. We do not store it.
- Basic technical data. Our hosting providers may log standard information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.
- Site analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use KidsCurate (for example, which pages are visited). It uses cookies and collects usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location. We turn off Google advertising features and do not use it to show you ads. We do not honor analytics for browsers that send a Do Not Track signal.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your favorites.
- To reply to your messages and review place suggestions.
- To keep the site secure and working well.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not show third-party ads.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run KidsCurate, including Supabase (accounts and data storage), Cloudflare (hosting) and Google Analytics (site usage). Google handles your login when you choose Google sign-in and are governed by their own policies. We share information only as needed to provide the service, to comply with the law, or to protect our users and site.
Children
KidsCurate is made for parents and caregivers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can sign out at any time, and you can ask us to access, correct or delete your account and saved data by emailing hello@kidscurate.com. California residents may have additional rights under California law, and we will honor valid requests.
Data retention and security
We keep account data while your account is active and delete it on request. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can be completely secure.
Changes
If we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you on the site.
