McClellan Ranch Preserve

McClellan Ranch Preserve

Preserve This 18-acre natural preserve was a horse ranch in the 1930's and 40's. The site houses an Environmental Education Center (EEC) where visitors can learn more about the animals housed there as well as nature information related to the Preserve. Additional buildings include the original ranch house (home to the Santa Clara County Audubon Society), milk barn, livestock barn, a replica of Baer's Blacksmith Shop (originally located at De Anza and Stevens Creek Boulevards), and the old water tower from Parish Ranch (now Memorial Park). Environmental Education Center Visit our animal ambassadors, engage with preserve staff, learn about the local ecology, and participate in hands-on nature activities during Open House hours Saturdays 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
